The Christmas Mantis is one of our favorite big bonefish flies. Destinations like Andros Island in the Bahamas is one of the places where big, big bonefish roam the flats and the Christmas Mantis works great there along with the Flats on Christmas Island. This fly will also work on permit. More and more permit anglers are fishing mantis shrimp flies and this is a pattern you want in your fly box.
