Euro Nymphing is catching fire with anglers as a very effective way to catch trout. The Sense Euro Nymph Rod from Sage is an extremely effective tool for this style of fishing. With a Generation 5 rod blank the Sense's action includes a soft tip to protect light tippets and to provide better control with this precise style of fishing. Towards the butt of the blank the power increases providing quick hook sets and the ability to handle large fish. The Sage Sense also features components and cosmetics designed for the application. An optimally positioned stripper guide keeps the line closer to the blank to help prevent snagging and improves control. The Sense features a down-locking matte black reel seat that shifts reel weight farther down for better balance. The rod also has a Stealth Grey blank along with tonal cosmetics providing low glare which allows for a very close approach to spooky fish.
