Grasshopper, dragonfly, wounded baitfish? The Soft Chew can imitate all of these we think. What we do know is bass eat these flies really well, especially smallmouth bass. Tied on very high-quality Gamakatsu B10S hooks these are effective for both largemouth and smallmouth bass. We love to fish the Soft Chew on a hopper-dropper rig in late spring and early summer by hanging either a damsel or dragonfly nymph below it.
