The Ross Reels Animas is a guide favorite and has now been updated with features that have been a part of the rebirth of the Ross Reel line-up.
The Animas has a completely redesigned frame and spool. This new design not only looks incredibly good but has made the Ross Animas extremely strong. The Animas also incorporates an ultra-light canvas phenolic canvas reel handle. Hearing canvas in a reel description sounds way out of place but the handle actually gets tackier when its wet. It's one of our favorite features. The reel also features a new spool release for trouble-free use.
The drag system is ultra-smooth and super-strong. The drag knob has been updated. It has a lower profile and is easier to grip.
The frame is accented by a machined silhouette of the Colorado mountains in Ross Reels’ backyard. Its uniquely ported design and structural profile are eye-catching industry firsts. The two-tone drag knob sports an updated aesthetic with a lower profile and increased grip.
