The Ross Reels Evolution R Fly Reel is the culmination of the artistic and technical prowess of the engineers and machinists at Ross Reels. The Evolution R is a fully machined and anodized fly reel that is powered by an industry leading, proprietary bonded carbon fluoropolymer and stainless steel stacked disc drag system. Like its bigger brother the Evolution R Salt fly reel, the R is super-rigid, ultralight and features a large, frame-integrated drag knob that can be quickly and easily adjusted with your palm. The handle is machined canvas phenolic rod that is superlight and grips well when wet. This is an incredibly innovative freshwater fly reel that can also handle light duty saltwater duty as well.
