The Ross Reels Evolution R Saltwater Fly Reel is designed to be tougher than the harshest saltwater environment and the brawny species that live in it. The Evolution R Salt fly reels are built on the foundation of the R series reels but instead of the 7-disc drag system, the supercharged R Salt boasts a 16 disc system. The drag system is made with stainless steel and carbon fluoropolymer that generates nearly 30 pounds of drag pressure. The drag is housed in a fully anodized frame/spool and is adjusted by an innovative large, frame integrated drag knob.
