Tungsten is much denser than most materials typically used in coneheads and beads, meaning more sink with less bulk! When tying conehead streamer flies use a tungsten conehead if you need to get it deeper. We especially like using these tungsten coneheads fly fishing smallmouth bass in rivers where we are dealing with current or in bigger trout rivers when streamer fly fishing for trout.
