Dumbbell Eyes are an easy way to add weight to streamer style flies. They also work well on bonefish flies. Anytime you want to get your fly to ride hook up like Bob Clouser’s Clouser Minnow and other smallmouth bass flies just tie the dumbbell eyes on top of the hook and your fly will ride hook point up. Tie your bonefish flies with bead chain eyes for shallow water and use lead eyes for fly fishing bonefish in deeper water.
