The Wyatt's Kung Fu Crab is a very effective permit crab fly and is effective as a bonefish fly if you are fly fishing for big bones. We love using this fly for the permit found in Belize and around Roatan. Designed as a saltwater fly, it is also super effective in the freshwater for smallmouth bass in our home smallmouth bass rivers of Wisconsin. The swimming action does imitate crayfish, a favorite smallmouth bass forage base.
